A structure designed for movement, now largely demolished. Sections closed off, surfaces worn by time. Concrete holds its form, but not without change. Edges soften, lines break, surfaces carry the record of use.
There’s a tension between what was intended and what remains. The geometry is still present.
These images sit close to the language of my recent paintings. Division, weight, interruption. Form held, but not fully resolved. This is documentation, but not in the strict sense.
More a way of understanding structure under pressure. It’s possible the whole site will disappear. Either by man, or by time itself.
