Brutalist Playgrounds.

A Brutalist playground slide cast in raw concrete. Born out of the socialist era of Central and Eastern Europe, these heavy forms appeared across the housing estates of Czechoslovakia, East Germany, and Poland through the 1970s and 80s. These kinds of structures have long influenced how I approach form, weight and shadow in my paintings.
